Operation Karaoke: A sting operation that proved – All that matters to Bollywood “sell-brities” is money, money & more money…

As Valourous soldiers defend our country's honour & safety, Bollywood scandalous "sell-brities" are filling their banks.

Operation Karaoke trapped celebrities

While our Indian soldiers are sacrificing their lives for love of their country, here we have few famous Bollywood personalities playing a different game altogether. With a numerous fan-following & an infinite number of people looking up to them, these “sensible” part of our society have been caught red-handed doing a charade of nonsensical actions that would load them with simply more money. Have they no self-respect or empathy at all? No accountability towards their fan and followers?

Well, yes we are talking about Cobrapost’s Operation Karaoke in the series of sting operations. After a successful sting on DHFL (Dewan Housing Finance Limited) promoters last month, this time Cobrapost went vigorously after Bollywood. Their sting exposed over 30 Bollywood & Television industry celebrities who agreed to tweet in support of a political party in lieu of large sums of money.

Among the money-minded Bollywood lot, there were 4 exceptional actors who refused to take part in this “business plan”. They were Arshad Warsi, Vidya Balan, Raza Murad and Saumya Tandon. Kudos to you four!

But in the list of offenders, there a select few who crossed all limits, whatsoever. Actors Minisha Lamba & Aman Verma asked all the amount in cash. Sonu Sood, allegedly demanded ₹20 crore for an eight-month contract and promised to deliver spectacularly on what was required. A few roped in their friends and a few like Hiten Tejwani & Pankaj Dheer roped in their family so as to earn more. Ameesha Patel wanted money in advance before tweeting. Abhijeet Bhattacharya agrees to say/do anything but nothing against West Bengal (it’s his bread & butter). Sunny Leone says she’ll support BJP in her tweets if her husband is given overseas citizen status. Jackie Shroff is seen negotiating and asking for more and Vivek Oberoi explaining the “ripple” effect of such posts.

Social media has gone in a frenzy as soon as this news became viral. #BikaooBollywood is trending, check out these tweets & the Cobrapost video of Operation Karaoke.

Yes, it’s a technologically-savvy world and we all are out to earn. But, at least not to earn through such shameful propagandas which can brainwash masses. Disgraceful heights of their audacity! They are out to earn money- be it black or white, be it from wherever & however!

I hope the audience decide to boycott these “losers” to teach them a lesson of honesty & integrity that they have clearly missed!
